I haven't used zsh extensively, but I adore fish. The auto complete/intellisense-like command line experience is fantastic. It takes a bit to get used to translating some bash things over, but overall, I enjoy it.

I think zsh with oh-my-zsh is the best solution, but the differences between fish and zsh overall are mainly user-dependent.

Zsh and oh-my-zsh for me, never went deep into fish, but i've been told it was pretty similar

Currently I’m very happy with zsh in combination with oh my zsh. But if you want to use fish, you should use it with oh my fish

I tried fish but problem is minor syntactical difference like you have to use semicolon instead of '&&' for series command execution and some special characters are not supported.

So switched back to zsh.
