Ever since MS Teams added the option to merge channels and chats together, every week they give me a new, differently phrased popup asking me if perhaps I considered having them separate instead. It's fucking hilarious, like a suitor who can't take no for an answer. I mean, it already contains a ton of dark patterns, they can just remove the feature again without my approval if they feel like it, but this miserable charade pretending to care about their users is frankly embarrassing.

And before that they were annoying people by asking if users considered to merge their chats because thats a new feature.

Like "look we have a new feature, aren‘t we great?", pathetically trying to get the attention to be able to say that they are doing something and they want to show you the proof.

@Lensflare I switched immediately because I prefer my actionables in a big fucking list, but knowing that makes it even funnier.

When will we realize that the inly thing keeping us from watching microsoft get beheaded is organization.

@Chewbanacas yeah, my organization prevents me from never using Microsoft again.

@Chewbanacas they deal with corporate and they're good at that. That's why they manage to be dominant despite their garbage attitude towards users; if you're a customer but not a user in the same capacity, i.e. corporate IT picking tools on behalf of their users, MS really is a good deal.
