Me : I'm having a pretty bad headache.

Boss : Stop acting like a girl and get back to work.

Me: It's a migraine headache.

Boss: Ohh!! You know it's just in your head stop being a pussy. Don't think about the headache, and you won't feel any pain.

Me(in my head) : You fucking idiot you are partially correct it's in my head. But the pain won't stop if I stop thinking about it.

*Why the fuck does no one understand a neurological disease. If i'm not physically hurt, it doesn't mean i'm not in pain*

Fucking ignorant bastards.

@helloworld Just feel like people don't get it. The excruciating pain, depression, nausea. It's not like I want it to happen.

@jonii To be honest, that's what I'm thinking of doing. But the thing is it's just my first job and I've been in this job for 3 Months. I want to take a short 2 to 3 Months career break coz of this freaking ass Migraine.

    I would just leave.
Migraines prevent productivity, and trying to "just power through it" like I've heard so many guys say just means the headache doesn't leave and you still don't get anything done.

I'm sorry. If I'm in acute pain I'm not going to be doing anything for you except maybe glaring, screaming, or plotting the most fitting way for you to die.

And migraines are just that. It feels like parts of your brain are dying and/or being pulled out of your head by a hook. Plus nausea, light sensitivity, ...

That self-centered asshole needs to meet a pissed off Harley in a dark alley with her goodnight bat.

@ArcaneEye Yes. I used to have these every 1-4 weeks for years, sometimes with visual or auditory effects, sometimes not. But the pain. Even hearing someone talk in another room hurt. Sometimes the pain wasn't even there, but it hurt so much. Often it was all I could do to keep from crying and/or puking.

Someone telling me I had to work while suffering and being barely able to walk? Absolutely no way.
