So today I accidentally updated more than 3000 records in a table and wasn’t using transactions so I couldn’t Rollback, LOL had the whole team freak out this Monday morning and we had to pull a backup

    Definitely a rite of passage as a programmer. I don't know anyone that hasn't done that. Always scary, and always a good story to tell after the fact (if there are good backups!).

    If your on oracle flashback query can be a life saver if you notice your mistake quick enough
