C++ isn't much harder though tbh

If I don't learn java soon ,and stick to c++ ,I'll be in the same situation.
Well not exactly learning. Because if you know c++ you can read and understand the java code pretty well. So yeah I'd have to practice writing some.

As long as you understand the concepts, you'll be fine switching to whatever language is required of you, so don't worry! & welcome
