Is there any better why to learn things beside reading wiki articles of your distro? So you build a good knowledge base to proceed further. -

Such a person would also brag about his skills of booting up a system. -

Arch gained popularity among advanced users because of its authors philosophy and since it is rather tedious to install, it became a status symbol. Arch is secondary, it could easily be a car, house, watch, shoes, cloth, trophy wife...
