Why arch users getting hated so much?

I mean, in fact they need some skills to proper use their system, aren't they?

PS: I use arch btw ;)

Because of all the unnecessary bragging and crappy memes

@jespersh But the wiki never helped me to resolve my problems by 100%. And anyway you learn a lot of things about Linux.

Is there any better why to learn things beside reading wiki articles of your distro? So you build a good knowledge base to proceed further.

@nnee That's not a problem of arch Linux itself, it's rather a problem of the individual person.

Such a person would also brag about his skills of booting up a system.

@liketop It is always about people, individuals and/or groups. Arch gained popularity among advanced users because of its authors philosophy and since it is rather tedious to install, it became a status symbol. Arch is secondary, it could easily be a car, house, watch, shoes, cloth, trophy wife...
