No earphones, just a baseball bat to swat at people making noise in my cave at work. After dragging them out of the cave, because it's the cave of silence.

We have 3 zones: One colloquially known as "the wasp nest" (people calling/laughing/buzzing/screaming), the "library" where people read, work, relax and talk very softly, and the "cave of silence": A maze of small foam-padded offices with thick carpet, o-ring dampened mechanical keyboards and large forests of green plants where devs float like ghosts and where even sign language and breathing is frowned upon.

Regarding my drinking habits: I've switched from coffee to green tea. I guess being hipster is a transmittable disease. I still down two or three espressos in the morning, but switch to a kagoshima sencha in the afternoon. And possibly port and/or cognac at 3pm.
