it has two usb-c ports that means two monitors can be attached.
Appart from the ridiculous pricing for the 500gig ssd it seems like a good deal. -
If you want a MAC just say so. No need to hide behind "for development", "for ${random_reason}" :)
And if you want it trully for development -- what's wrong with cheaper, older MACs?
I know I'm gonna need one to port my app to iPhone/MacOS. There's no way I'm buying the newest model there is. It's a tragic waste of money. -
mishaor17696yAgree to what @netikras said. Just buy the older one with macOS Mojave patch support (yes, a patch, not the OS, just Google (or DuckDuckGo) "mac os mojave patch for older macs")

@Haxk20 I see it like:
30% - actual cost
30% - apple tax
30% - bcz it's the freshest potato in the market
10% - to keep iDeals running -
bahua128036yIf my employer offered it to me, I would ask, "are you sure this is all that's available?"
For my own purposes, absolutely not.
Also, why do they keep saying "SSD" and why do people keep repeating it? You have to go back like 6 or 7 years to find an apple laptop with a spinning drive in it. -
Snob20876yDepends on what you 'develop'... Web stuff works for sure, hardcore heavy stuff: nope.
Also in my opinion it is way too expensive. I'd rather consider a MacBook Pro (new/used)
