One doesn't.. Too much there is for one to master.

Learn a domain, that will focus you on that domain’s stack, then you can learn that stack’s languages. Don’t focus on solutions until you understand the problem.

My advice is to analyze local job openings to find out the most commonly demanded languages and frameworks.

In my country there is a high demand for developers proficient in ASP.NET Core + Angular. In your country that may not be the case.

If you're more into web design, I'd recommend learning PHP and Wordpress as there seems to be a high demand for developers proficient in PHP and Wordpress across the globe.

It all boils down to demand in your local area and your interests.

@ivanvinski I don't care too much about financial aspects. I'm more talking about languages that are just cool to learn and would help me become better programmer, such as Racket or Clojure, or are just cool and have some potential (Rust, Nim, Crystal).

@Taqriaqsuk Well, I believe a change in programming paradigm would help you look at things from the other perspective and it would make you a better programmer. Perhaps you could try that. :)
