brod100278yFor a junior graduate that manages to actually find a job, AUD$40-$50k is what they can expect for the first year or two in Australia.

jsdev3188yIndia - 370 usd a month
for scale:
Average cost of a burger-2.5-3 USD
Average cost of a coffee at Starbucks:3-5USD -
Netherlands: €1900-€2100
for scale: bread=€2, milk=€1, gasoline=€1,44/ltr.
Also, about 30% goes to tax.
anyway, it's hard to compare wages around the globe without comparing other factors as well. -
kevbost25648y@kanduvisla Yup, lots of things to take into account. A New York City salary is double that of where I live, for example. But the cost of living is also a LOT higher.

Mrlys998yI just began my 3rd year of my CS bachelor in Norway. I had a job this summer in a rather big company, where I had a gross income of $3900 a month. Guessing when graduated, the salary is even bigger?

@JakeHL graduates fetch 30k in the UK under very strict circumstances. you'll probably need to graduate from Oxbridge, work in finance and have a portfolio/internships. can be done but it's tough.

In Romania as a junior without experience you earn 800-1000$/month. But it depends on the city/region, it could be a little more.
And for scale:
Gass: ~1.30$/l
Bread: ~0.85$
A dinner: ~5-10$ -
petert0th88yIn Hungary, a junior dev gets about $800-1000. A decent rent with utilities is around $450. Yes, it s.cks
-
BartBB6898yAround 4,000 USD a month for the first 3 years (completely lacking formal experience)
For scale:
A loaf of bread costs 1.5 USD
Let's do a simple research here. What is the average fresh graduate salary as a programmer in your country.
In Hong Kong, it is around 2000USD
