In Android it seems impossible to paste something behind your text often. It grinds my gears. * heavy breathing *

Hmm... unsure if I understood correctly.

Either seems like a security feature, if we're talking about attempting to paste something into a field in the background while e.g. a popup is being displayed... or we're talking about pasting something directly after text on one line.

For the latter I like keyboards - Ctrl + V works way better than long press on the touch screen.

    What’s your use case? 😄

"often" in this context meaning pasting the same thing repeatedly or that it often fails?

I type: please fact check this url: [url]. So I try to put the finger after the : and hold in to get the paste menu option. But no, does nothing. I must make a small select of that space that I just entered and then paste. It's old android tho. Can't believe this fully capable phone is outdated already. It does everything with ease. So far also never get a message "your phone is too old" when installing an app. Someone said to me nothing good came after android six 😂

@whimsical Ah, the pasting problem sounds like the old issue. Probably a design flaw, where you need to actually touch that very small area behind the text, otherwise the OS thinks you're touching the area outside the text box or something like that.
