Right now I am working on an assignment that requires me to use binary trees and linked lists... I think the lecturer did it on purpose...

I got an idea of creating a Xmas tree by using a deep neural network to generate binary output🎄

@D3add3d Lucky you 😂 did they already make you dive into C and/or Java?

At least on at Christmas the trees are normaly shaped like they should be.
If now we could convince them that the thing on top is in fact called the root

@Ceniza I am doing it in C... and I hate it, I would love to be able to use Java*, I know Java inside-out(learned it myself even before they started teaching programming in (Turbo) Pascal at the secondary grammar school I went to... And I learned PHP at age 6½... dark times XD) and I love it. Java is the best programming language ever, full stop. Java can do anything, you can even run it on really fscking small computers that you are probably using right now without even knowing it 😎

*C++ would also be better than C... heck everything is better than C... even brainfuck

@D3add3d So we just found a high-level programmer and Java lover 😊 I must say that years ago I would have agreed with you with the exact same words... But don't you think that Java adds too much memory overhead for small purposes? Don't you think that its high level abstraction can result in lower performance? I believe that Java is the unified and fashionable programming language nowadays, but in 5~10 years it will go out of trend and get replaced. It's currently an amazing language, though (I agree). I couldn't tell you another thing, I mean,... Learning PHP when being 6½... That's awesome
