afaIk1032dCertainly, I did some direct3d, but to be honest I am not really interested, the coding style is heavy, a bit bloated and repetitive, the nice thing about direct3d/x is a framework that can work in very old machines (you can choose old direct3d profiles), opengl is not as linear and today has been deprecated by many big companies in the game field (Valve), It looks like direct3d is more stable than Vulkan (game test) but maybe a bit more heavy on ressources. -
I don't know why people would say direct 3d is verbose or horrible.
I mean, their main competitor literally copied the style when designing Vulkan so...
And while you can kinda get by with open gl and Vulkan nowadays, of you wanna do real shit on windows, it's directx or the highway.
