Creating mobile-first & responsive designs remains such an unfun experience. At least a lot of css frameworks makes it less painful but it still remains painful :(

...could be worse... They could want you to make 'fun, but !too fun' experiences w/ monetization. Then, you'd be dealing w/ the Beelzebutt, the Canadian devil. https://youtu.be/zqk9V0fBl7w .

@D-4got10-01 Remembers me of my previous company that wanted to add gamification to the whole product... Before it was even functional or even released. The app was a B2B VoIP app.

@wojtek322 Well... gamification in such a product sounds like a brilliant idea...

Seems like their priorities have been whacked if they wanted to include those before finishing the product. Especially when probably no one asked for the feature.

@wojtek322 gamification in a b2b phone app.. Terrible. It's like gamification of my bank app. It's crazy. I spend and receive money and on top I get some bonus points and everything. How can such serious thing as banking be gamified... That bank is illegal anyway, they don't offer phone support. Imagine that. There are laws in the EU and especially in the Netherlands regarding availability trough phone. For example, a webshop requires phone support here.

The only frontend system doing it totally right what I've worked with is vuetify. But frontend development sucks anyway but js is a lot of fun.

@D-4got10-01 The app never released with gamification cuz we lacked development time and the dev team was very much against it. The company owner/CEO required it. After the release, he wanted also that the app supported 3D worlds like a metaverse but good luck building that with 2 juniors frontend devs and 2 senior backend devs and a bunch of other prios.

At least one of our devs (who loves to draw) made a bunch of assets for the gamification with our company mascot and those assets at least found use in marketing material.
