@whimsical at the same time god forbids many things that the law allows.
To eat specific kinds of meat, to wear specific kinds of cloths, to have a specific sexual orientation, to work on specific days, and much more.
Of course that’s not god who forbids it. He doesn’t exist. It’s the people who invented god who like to forbid this.
