Wish everyone on stackoverflow followed this etiquette:
1. Don't be lazy, before you post try and solve the issue yourself and check that your post isn't a duplicate.
2.Make sure that you post is coherent and specific.
3. If someone helps you acknowledge it.

Equally though, you get StackOverflow arseholes that simply love to critique people's answers and questions even though those people were just helping.

Yes, it must be a two way street. There must be respect as there is on devRant.

I look at it from both sides of the fence.. before I ask a question I make sure that I have spent at least a couple of days trying to find the solution myself, I describe the issue properly and always make sure to give credit where credit is due( and that included answers that are not chosen as solution. I have tremendous respect for stackoverflow and the people who help, so wherever I can I will try and contribute but there are some inconsiderate users..

Good @koukou, you get it. There's a lot of hate for Stack overflow here. It really isn't that bad of a place if you take time to do your due diligence before making a post. How do I fix a NullPointerException for example will get closed *fast*.
