they both worked at the same hedge fund previously and married a year before he started creating amazon, guess where.... in his garage.

Anyway it seems they co-signed it but when the company went public, she retained no shares as she only worked there for a short while in the financial side. Out of the 167.1 billion thats estimated as his networth, 160billion of it are in amazon shares (a bit over 16% of the company's shares)
