I walked like a mile and a half in some extremely uncomfortable boots to my uni's surplus warehouse to try and grab a tower at some ridiculously cheap prices (like an Optiplex 980 with an i7 for like $30).

I got lost as fuck because it was like 6 months since I last came here. I was there about 15 minutes after it opened and they're already sold out. Time to walk another mile back to the bus stop salty as fuck.

    @theKarlisK

    1) It was a mile and a half
    2) I had class until 10:50, and it opened at 11:00
    3) my book bag is heavy as fuck
    4) my fat ass is so out of shape it's not even funny.

    I'm skipping class when it opens up in like 2 weeks and waiting in line to fight a bitch if they try and get a computer before me 🤷🏻‍♂️

    @Stuxnet I'm sorry it didn't work out for you (but you worked out 😄).
    If you repeat this once per week, your fat ass will be no more. (nohomo)

    @PonySlaystation lmfao

    Deep down I knew damn well by the time I got there it was too late, but I was trying to be optimistic. at least I've got a game plan for the next time.

    Or maybe I'll get lucky and find something on Craigslist or something. I just want a cheap computer (doesn't even have to powerful lol) so I can learn to be heckerman 😂😂

    @Stuxnet How 'bout a dayum Raspberry Pi? 😉
    It could fulfill your tinkerin' needs as well.

    Don't criticise someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes. Because then you're a mile away, and you have their shoes.

    @PonySlaystation I want something more than that. I've got one, but I want something more just for the hell of it. Maybe slap a dual boot on it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    I would walk from here to there for a 30 bucks core i7 any day...

    @hell Oh I would too.

    It's just frustrating that I did and walked away empty handed
