@molgamus well if you imagine "Ctrl" would stand as for Mac's "Command", then it could be a perfect match - "command cancel" ^^
However, I think you woudn't like to cancel (your) control, ehm... :D -

Ctrl-C for copy is also found in desktop Linux.
Ctrl-C for abort is also found in DOS and CP/M. -
