I wish I could run software on there that Wine (or a rum and coke) doesn't allow me to.

Other than that, it's slowly been tearing me away from my other systems. To the point that I have too much installed on Ubuntu 16.04LTS to make the switch to Mint (since I really don't like Ubuntu's new UI at all.)

I have to say, my comment was more sarcasm then anything else, since I've never used MacOS.
But I suppose, I couldn't do anything with MacOS, I do with Linux.
Most importantly customizing the hell out of my system.

And I never had stability problems on Linux. At least not, if I didn't provoke them.

It's a shit company, that falsifies the quality of all their products. No matter how much I used to look at Steve Jobs as a douche bag compared to Bill Gates, Jobs was the man who forced standards upon those products.

Those standards are gone. The user is considered inept, and so "pretty" and "trendy" are more important than the level of quality that was being applied to their products pre-2013.

Now you're buying wafer thin glue machines that are completely unreliable, unfixable, and way too overpriced.

@Orinj - Well, get ready for all of your legacy hardware to become worthless, since they've been "custom tailoring" MacOS and iOS not to work on devices older than 3 years.

I have a close colleague that just left the Apple dev team after 14 years, because of that.

However, even though Apple has locked you into paying them. Microsoft is no better, these days. And, quite honestly, Canonical really went and fucked themselves with not completing Unity - which could have been a game changer if they finished what they had started.
