@rutee07 I work hard. Harder than seniors. I'm pretty much the decision maker. I mentor seniors. I do my work right and I work extra as well. But not getting this damn promotion

@KAS89 I hear ya, I'm not senior level but they have yet to bump me out of the entry level spot despite fact I am the go to expert in a few areas for everyone above me.

Only (one) way is out. Apply for senior position elsewhere.

@rutee07 I have put it into my goals. So my manager can see it. We don't have anyone to talk to. Its just one on ones with the manager. I'm hoping to talk to her in yearly evaluation. Im frustrated

I did my work like any other, getting good reviews from customers did make it go quicker.

    Drink.. drink a lot 🙈

@Voxera being a lead dev does not make you senior. Seniority is about experience and being able to avoid getting into issues a junior or medior dev could get into.

I got hired into a senior position, but there were years and years of hard work ahead of that.

    Play politics.
    It's tiring.

Do a good job, learn a lot, and wear many hats. I moved to a senior role when switching jobs after 8 years.

Of course, you're automatically the senior engineer if everyone else has less experience than you.

    I'm here.

Wait for the current senior to die or quit.

@Codex404 well, I started with programming before any of my colleagues was born, literally :)

And in some cases I even joined the company before they where born.

So I do beat them on experience to :P
