SPie18036yI prefer books because it is easier to look up stuff if I need something.
Also I look much smarter reading a book on my way to work :] -
Quirinus7526yVideos are too slow and you cant skim them like text.
Books are boring.
I learn by coding, reading docs, thinking, and then googling if i need it. -
Between the two, videos for quick intro, books for the details.
Books are easier to go my own pace, jump around to review or to get exactly what I need.
Sometimes docs are good enough, but an experienced guide is useful too.
Most of all, no matter which methods you use, practice, play, and TYPE the code out (don't copy paste). -
I am a big books guy, but when I need to learn something quick and not deep I prefer videos
