They guy makes more than 1 million USD per month...
Who’s the real retard? -
@K4YZ I did some stereo vision stuff on measuring grass length back the day. Completely nonsense, but we still managed to make it happened.
What’s your topic? π -
K4YZ1176y@sunfishcc I am just really newbie on this stuff, I just want make smart poster ar kinda thing.
But my examiner make it complicated more than I can handle alone, she want me to make the user can manage his own poster and 3D content to show on apps.
I use Wikitude as AR API, I am see myself my knowledge in this point can't handle this complicated project. -
K4YZ1176y@sunfishcc the cloud recognition that required according to my examiner suggest, iit is may too expensive for mini thesis accomplishments.
-
@K4YZ π€sounds like very low budget. Maybe switch to a proof of concept, throw in some survey results?
-
K4YZ1176y@sunfishcc it's 4490 € / yr packet that include access of Recognition Server with RESTFUL API , and I also need to make those "user content management" on website or into the apps itself, stressful to tackle. For my knowledge it's impossible one man project if scale into 6 month
-
@K4YZ is it possible to just use the camera capture api and piggyback the result to your own server?
-
K4YZ1176y@sunfishcc the problem is my examiner want the user manage his own content by them self, it's like the user alone create what ar content that they want to share and upload it to the apps.
My job is create those service for them, provide them tools needed to configure how the ar will look on the apps camera.
Mind blowing right? How big it is, just imagine my examiner what me make this:

@K4YZ start big end small is a topical research pattern. Trust me, your tutor knows it well
-
@K4YZ take a look on apples swift tutorial. They have full tutorial on building an ar app
-
@K4YZ kotlin and java are more difficult to develop same level of apps for beginners. π€¦βοΈ
-
@K4YZ idk what it looks like.
But it’s not about readability, it more about how many search results you can find for a given problem
