Started watching the first season of Mr Robot. But I got bored by the end of the fourth episode; don't get the flow of the story; plus too much nudity and like genders kissing is gross. πŸ˜”πŸ˜£
Opinions?

    One of the best shows in my opinion. Too much nudity and like genders kissing though? Bitch lasagna.

    Too much kissing? Are we 10? Or did you expect some dry ass shown without any drama? lol

    Edit: oh I remember what scene you're likely referencing lmao

    #Season2DropOut
    The tech side of things is great, for the most part. As for the story line, it felt like a soap opera.

    I wonder how the series would have been had he not split personality issues

    @M1sf3t lub is for amateurs. We're going big, we're going deep and we're going to make you suffer!

    like genders kissing? What does that mean?

    And nah man, there was only one sex scene i can think of thus far, it was a gay scene btw is that what you mean by like genders kissing?

    Gross? Grow up. It's 2019. It's different, that's it. You don't like it, maybe I don't like it, others do. That's non of your business. It's completely normal now and it's good that it's being handled like this in the movie business today

    @Kimmax he can still find it gross, it is within his right to not like something. Can't really hit the dude for not being ok with it.

    Still, he could have found a better way to express himself without sounding like someone with phobias

    @M1sf3t Like Wellick kissing/screwing the desk guy or Angela kissing Shayla, ...

    @AleCx04 Thanks, and, I guess...

    @M1sf3t 😏dis... gust... what was I saying again?

    @Stuxnet @Kimmax @M1sf3t @AleCx04 I know it's 2019. I do watch porn; I've watched a lot of it.

    However, this is a TV show, not a blue film. Take Breaking Bad - it has sex scenes; but it gets the point across without showing full female nudity and it doesn't involve it every second episode. There are movies of that kind too - Girl House anyone? - however the title and overall story at least make you expect it.

    Another fact is that I was watching it on a Saturday evening, with other family members around me. I'm not gonna go to a frickin' dark room to watch a TV series.

    @cst1992 stay clear of Game of Thrones then.

    @Haxk20 It's actually a really good tech series, one that connects to hardcore techies. One of the scenes even has them making fun of a hacking movie πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    @M1sf3t Not this specifically, but this kind of thing in general.
    And, I get it. I'm not an 8-year-old girl.

    @C0D4 I don't know

    @M1sf3t I just have an issue with everything turning to semi-porn these days.

    As for how much LGBTQ peeps there are vs how much there are in TV, we're still underrepresented - in that show maybe we are visible, but in others? None or bad representation.

    And, I kid you not, there are much more queer people in tech than in general population.
    You just don't/can't see us.
    Deal with it.

    @M1sf3t Ah, the good ol' late night tv boob search. Despair and hopelessness could switch to ecstacy in a matter of seconds...
  • 1
    @Brolls You're mixing things up.

    Anyway, rant away.
  • 3
    @AleCx04 yep, you're right. I thought of gross in a more insulting way, didn't consider the "feeling"
  • 2
    @M1sf3t educated on what exactly? Not finding something gross or posting that he finds it gross here?

    He talked about a well known tech show in a tech community, said that he found it gross. If he just would have stated that he didn't like it then people would have been on him to know why. He would have stated the same and the same shit would have happened.

    I really doubt it is homophobic. You can be 100% for gay people and what not and still find it gross.
  • 1
    @AleCx04 Actually it is my fault in this case. I kinda kicked the hornets' nest. That statement of mine targeted the entire community; I should have made it narrower(or not at all). It's natural that someone felt slighted.
    Thanks for your support btw.☺️

    Strangely enough, I had a similar experience? I watched the first season when it came out and wasn't too impressed by it, It was just boring... Then I tried to watch it again a year later (last year actually) and I ate all 3 seasons in less than 2 weeks. Now I love it.

    @haze what does deal with us even mean? You reduce your existence to a fight against evil heterosexual patriarchy, just be yourself.
  • 0
    @aviophile Do we? I just said, you don't normally notice us. But we exist. And there is nothing you can do.

    We existed, we exist, we will exist. We are ourselves, no matter whether you like it or not.

    @M1sf3t OP triggered this spirally staircase with "gross" and "opinions" sadly this comment section is where that penny landed.
  • 1
    @M1sf3t mine is ******* what's yours?
  • 0
    @haze there is nothing I can do? Why do you think I would care about your existence more than others. You talk like you are fighting for your survival, in western societies. Just slow down with unnecessary plugins in unnecessary areas. Identity politics suck.

    @aviophile That's a collective you, not you specifically.

    Trans people are getting killed. Just recently another trans woman was found dead.
    US is passing a legislation that allows doctors to not treat trans people, even in an emergency when their being trans is irrelevant.
    In my country gov is trying to make us enemy number 1. They won EU parliament elections yesterday.
    My friends got attacked when gathered to commemorate a girl who committed suicide because she couldn't bear it anymore, even "specialists" treated her like shit.
    People harassed those who offered their condolences online.
    Local pride event fanpage gets people saying they will come to Equality Parade (not even Pride Parade, we're fighting for many minorities) with weapons, telling us Hitler should come back, and similar stuff. (I'm moderating the fanpage and it's priv.)

    Tell me again how me talking about it like a survival is too much.
    It IS survival, unless we want to spent all our life hiding in a closet...

    @haze @haze why are you directing anger at me or other imaginary enemies in tech then? You started aggressively saying “ we exist there is nothing you can do about it” as if tech people are religious fanatics.

    Some of the things you said are misleading or wrong also. Nobody passes a legislation not to treat trans people in us, i am sure that is bullshit.
    You are seeing enemies in most open minded fields, that is wrong.
  • 0
    @M1sf3t what she is saying is directly against human rights. Not even the most zealot fanatic would propose such thing, no party or supporter would support it. She just says sonething but we do not know what does she even means, whoch legislation. I am not from us btw.

    @aviophile
    As I said, I'm using collective you. My first comment was general/for the OP, and not against people in tech but actually pointing out there are a lot of LGBTQ peeps in tech.

    As for that legislation, you could've just googled it. US wants to remove gender/sex from list of traits protected against discrimination in medical field.

    >'The Trump Administration has announced that it is planning to roll back an important regulation about the Health Care Rights Law, the part of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) which protects transgender people from discrimination in health care and insurance coverage. '

    As of now:
    >'Section 1557 of the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, sometimes called the Health Care Rights Law, "prohibits discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability in certain health programs and activities" and, as laid out in its final rule of 2016, explicitly includes protections for gender identity.'

    Even if it wouldn't be as bad as I said (bleeding out etc), insurance companies will be able to deny claims.

    I already saw similar insurance stuff here. Stuff unrelated to transition were not covered if a doctor mentioned trans status somewhere in the papers...
