It's very good, but be prepared to write more code.
It's like organizing a house. If you want to be organized, you will use more space and more boxes to keep everything. If you just put everything inside a drawer, it will be easier and save a lot of space, but it could be harder and harder to find anything there, specially because the drawer has a great potential to grow fast and no one wants to take everything off to organize from scratch.
So it stays that controversial part: if your drawer is small and has just a few things, it appears to be absolutely insane to use boxes and labels just to store 2 pens. But if you don't do it and you are storing more and more stuff there, it will becoming harder to understand and organize until the point you give up doing that.
That's the part I most see people complaining and fighting about it.
Anyway, it is a must read book. -
@brunofontes thanks for the tip. Seeing as my current project(s) involve big data, I will definitely keep that in mind

theuser47816yI remember Uncle Bob in another book (something being a professional) told me you should always hone your skills so spend a hour or two after work doing that. Well, what should fathers and mothers do then? They have literally no spare time. Well.. then you're just not a professional was the gist of it.
Other than that, they're pretty good. -
Nothing prettier than a pristine book waiting to be devoured. Wish I had more shelf space so I didn't have to buy e-books.

Arlind186ySomeone gifted the book to me few weeks ago. I’ve been loving it so far and I’ve already started implementing some ideas/advices/ways that the book preaches, on my work.

Ederbit7266y@theuser But.... doesn't uncle bob have children as well?
It's probably more of the ratio of time you spend on things per day. 2hrs a day might fit well for most people, but not for all.

Demy12When the customer says that he knows how to write the code. (BTW it's real)
Picked this up the other day. Hope it's as good as people have been telling me.
If so, then here begins a new journey for me to better code.
