Nobody gives a fuck about accessibility standards while development even though they specifically log hours for it. Then once the code is live on production, someone remembers, oh wait, we've test for accessibility and behold the terrors on fixing it without screwing up the functionality. Once I had to fix a complete typical navigation menu which went 4 level deep for screen reader and full keyboard support.
