Tbh, with the displays at the office I'm working at, I don't mind using loght themes as well, so I don't get annoyed at my coworkers who do use light theme.

That being said, I still prefer dark themes because they look more appealing to me.

@arraysstartat1 @EarthenExplorer @irene It's not about the lights. Room js well lit by lights and windows. But when you are working on dark screen then suddenly look a white screen it will definitely hurt.

@irene We're alone in that. Other people have to have their monitor on full brightness. The mere suggestion that they could change it could get you killed.

I heard that many prefer to use light theme in presentations as it is easier to see for the audience. Also teachers in university always had light theme when they were showing code.

I use light when it’s light and dark when it’s dark.. like a GPS.

But also, dark theme turns the screen into a hyper reflective mirror for the awful strip lighting in our office and I can’t see my code 😒

@delete this is what I do also. Light theme at work in the day and dark theme at home on my personal laptop as if I'm going to be doing anything on that, it will normally be in the evening.
