Why do viedo tutorials always assume that one doesn't know anything about programming?

If I am looking up a framework or library there's a good chance I know what a for loop is, and even if I didn't it's not the place to teach me 😒

Because people that do know something about programming are expected to RTFM

Well for me it's always instructor saying multiple times , "This is basic you can skip this chapter if you want as this is for people who don't have any knowledge about basics" or "I know I'm repeating this many times".

I think it depends on instructor, I've found many who always tells before starting that this is only for people who don't know basics or even they give multiple references to learn basics.

Sadly, this is the generalisation order:
Video = you don't know shit
Docs = you know something
Source = a real dev don't need help

Framework users are web developers mostly, low quality developers . They need basic knowledge.

Thats why I only - ONLY - read books.

Dont even bother finding a video tutorial or course (looking at you udemy)

Most of these guys just follow the "quick start" guide of XYZ framework and record it on video. Im always amazed people actually seem to buy this trash
