Yes, but most probably will trigger a watcher as many times as you press it.

Depends what are you currently using, though. When I work with Reaper, I tend to abuse the ctrl+alt+shift+S, which does "save as new version", so I end up with project files with suffixes such as _147 etc. even tho there are probably tons of duplicates

Yes but gives you the feeling that it actually does save it. Just like when you press the buttons harder to go faster in car games

But it saves 0 times if you don't press it. So I press it 3 or 4 times to make sure I pressed it at least once ;)
