I came into work to an all hands meeting. Same situation that happened a year ago today is happening again with my current (now former) job. Being laid off effective immediately due to lack of funds.

FML.

    @ArcaneEye there was severance pay, but definitely not a year. Only a month. I don't have a job lined up yet, but I'm looking and applying.

    Good luck finding a new gig!

    Man, am I glad I live in a country where the only reason for me to get fired immediately would be gross misconduct.
