I've been wanting to learn Ruby (specifically, Rails). Can any of you recommend a good learning resource for someone coming from a front-end / ReactJS background ?

I don't know ruby and cannot Help but I wonder why you decided you want to learn it

@don-rager i've been working as a FE developer for 3+ years, in my previous companies I either didn't get a chance to develop backend or didn't really identify with the backend stack they were using (ergh .NET).
My current work offers me the possibility to slowly start developing in rails, hence why :P

Sadly, I don't know of any good beginners Rails resources. 🙁

I will happily answer any questions you might have, though! Always glad to see someone else picking up Ruby.

If you want to learn RoR specifically, then I remember https://www.railstutorial.org/book being good enough.

I remember there was a cute interactive tutorial to learn ruby but I can't seem to find it anymore. http://ruby-doc.com/docs/... seems nice.

@nitnip I second what nitnip said. The rails guides are really approachable.
