What sort of people couldn't answer that in an interview? Hardware/embedded systems people? Also, what sort of answer was expected other than "its a microcontroller"?

One interviewer once tried to explain to me what a PCB is.
Interviewer : "We have our own team for designing a PCB layout. Do you know what PCB is? It's blah-blah blah"

Dude.. I may not be an embedded system engineer, but I am pretty sure I know what a PCB is.

@cmarshall10450 aight I’m really late on this but basically we would ask them what and arduino was, label the most important parts were, then have them draw a simple circuit, in which 40% of the people didn’t know what and arduino was.
