Yeah, like everyone in the same location MUST speak the same language!
Or even worse, once you watch one YouTube video in another language, YouTube just **assumes** you know the language and therefore, ads. Like, no I like video compilation of Indian memes, doesn't mean I want arranged marriage websites in hindi. 😐 -

and the ultimate solution is a fucking drop down list of languages to choose from, but that requires you not being a lazy piece of shit. -
@h4xx3r or make assumptions but have a change option. I won't mind changing language back to English so often, problem is, even with Google, it's hard to find the change language option in different languages 😛

Looking at your IP to find your language would be the less efficient way in the world (only a call to ask it personally would be worse).
It just looks at your user agent, which must be public, but doesn't reveal any personal data.
Or do you have any proof to say they really looked at your IP?
Anyway I agree they failed and made it broken. -
