Finally figured out there’s a gesture to paste on iOS!

Sounds like a great ux if figuring it out took so long. How long did it take? A decade?

Fuck that's complicated.
But good to know if I was on an iPad.

I just double tap until that "paste" shows up .

@electrineer To be fair, it’s difficult to design gestures on mobile that don’t, say, conflict with what individual apps might use. I don’t fault them. I just .... sometimes really want to paste somewhere that disables the conventional press + hold + paste.

@C0D4 It’s great until the paste doesn’t show up. Pasting into repl.it, for example. Could never freaking get conventional paste to work, ever, on mobile.

What's the gesture?
I'm too lazy to look it up.

Why not just use a keyboard app with clipboard functionality?
