    @Tounai how good are you with making interpreters and functional programming?

    Yep, London is a complete shit hole. You have to be loaded to live there. Anyway all the good jobs will be vacating London come January thanks to the stupid racist fucks that voted to leave. This country is a fucking toilet run by billionaires. Stay clear.

    If you're looking for jobs that only requires to speak English, it makes sense. You'd probably have to learn the native language to work in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, etc.

    @yellow-dog terribly bad

    @Jilano stay away from Italy if you're looking for a dev job

    @Jilano as someone who is working abroad (in the EU) and doesn't speak the local language that well I'm pretty sure it is possible to get by in these countries with only English if you are working for a tech company

    @MushiKun Duly noted!

    @IAmNotARobot While it might be possible when going for a big company, it definitely makes it harder when looking for smaller ones. It also depends on how well that country does with English, I guess (looking at you, France).

    Anyway, how's your experience so far? All is well?

    Huh, I've never needed to move away from the Greater Manchester area, and I've not gone jobless for longer than a day in years.

    @stonestorm how is outside of London Britain? For us tech workers that is

    I work in London and live 1:45 away. I work remote 3 days a week and in the office in the city 2 days. I could not afford a place in London. Take a job and live in Kent or Sussex. Brighton is really good for tech related companies worth a look.

    @matt-jd made it my home 3 years ago after being priced out of London. 1/3 of the cost for X2 of the space.
