Pointer32378yI swap them, because I feel more comfortable programming in normal mode in the day, at night, I switch to dark mode and I'm ready to go!
-
DotM8298yDark, absolutely
One of my colleagues prefers the light theme though (my eyes. Every time LoL) -
ryanmat6048yDark all day for everything except MS SQL Server just because I forgot how to change it and I just got used to sprocs burning my retinas
-
Mostly dark myself but I'm not going to judge you based on the brightness of your monitor, your chosen ide or editor, or your choice of language.
-
M4R1KU3228yIn my company every junior uses the dark theme but the seniors take the default theme bc they don't know how to change it. 😂

There is one type of people. The other group died of incineration from the light theme.

At least both are using a proper text editor. I have "programmer" friends who use Vim for programs that are over a 100 lines.
-
@cebonet Vim is great when wanna work on small scripts or make minor edits, but I feels it's simply more productive to use GUI text editors like atom/sublime when you have to work on much larger projects.
-
cebonet108y@AnirudhKonduru I think you are underestimating vim. Of course it is a matter of taste.
-
@cebonet I agree Vim is powerful, but it takes time master it and customize it. Much faster to just use GUI based ones, which often come with more tools. But yeah, it all comes down to personal preferences.

Both, I use dark for JavaScript (VSCode) and white for Java (Eclipse...). Too lazy to find the background preference option.
Which one guys?
