    Good thing I have this:

    setInterval(function(){ document.querySelectorAll('.earn-money-button')[0].click() }, 50)

    leaped out of bed at 2 am to play this.

    god damn do i hate myself for loving clicker and idle games.

    the progression is not bad. the last two stages, uh apple tree and caramel tree i think, have the right price but feel overpowered.

    also prices should generally go up by some percentage for each purchase.

    if you use easing functions you can actually control what the experience of upgrading will be like over time.

    a lot of times what clickers do is price things and power ups to force the player to decide between "large boosts" that are actually small relative to their loe cost versus "small" to large gains that have some sort of price hike over the previous tier.

    players like making those decisions.

    "the decision problem", "a dark room", and "cookie clicker" are all games in the genre worth examining for insight.

    @Wisecrack yeah I'm gonna add more stuff soon and make the last two stages maybe less op... What do you think? And I like the percentage idea!

    @Kimmax true... Idk I want opinions on my website

    @cabbybaby lol wait... So your making 50$ per click 😂

    @RyanHTMLJS well it works at least. Which is more than I can say. Prototypes are always ugly. And I be being someone that's a fan of the genre enjoyed what little was there. Just work on adding more content is what I would say for now.

    @Wisecrack thx I'll of course keep adding more stuff I'm surprised I already have a player base

    @Wisecrack I've been thinking what if I add another "area" that cost a lot of money to go to like Tue moon and buy business especially on the moon and earth
  • 1
    @RyanHTMLJS sure why not.

    and then offer the player a bunch of moon uogrades. have to balance o2/co2 production, housing (people breath out co2).
    shit idk. thats whats so great about idle games. soany of them habe these weird unexpected changes and expansions in gameplay or mechanics.

    ADR (a dark room) is actually a perfect example of this.

    @Wisecrack or those upgrades are like a 5 to 10 thing and buy oxygen upgrades to buy more?
  • 1
    @RyanHTMLJS im just thinking about how changing the player setting offers a reason to change the mechanics.

    go nuts.

    @Wisecrack yeah today I'll experiment with the percent thing stay in tuned

    @Wisecrack the % per purchase thing works but doesn't desplay, and there is no error...
