Learn to touch type. If you're a developer and doesn't know how to touch type, you're like an actor with no dress sense. It's one of the most basic things. Pay attention to these small things and it'll result in something huge!

Some time ago my school was for some reason teaching students touch typing in ICT lessons. I hated it, because it was pretty boring. Now, after some time programming as a hobby, I can touch type faster than I could while doing touch typing lessons, and without all those silly rules like keeping fingers on the home row and stuff like that.
