C0D4681384yI like stabbing myself in the eyes too, but white theme kills me (not a #darkTheme4LyfGuy) and there's just something about that font.... 🤮

Big doo doo, at this point I’d rather pay the 600$ for that ugly operator mono font
Wait a second... I did...
Edit: *Obligatory white theme hate here* (Unless your over 40 and have bad eye vision as I’ve heard from my lead) -
Status Code 201... Status Code 200... Constants please.
No one likes magic numbers. -
@neeno The only environment i feel comfortable with on dark theme is Sublime Text Editor. I've tried dark themes on Visual Studio, Android Studio IDE, and now IntelliJ. None provided me a befitting welcome to the dark side for Java development.

@IntrusionCM I can't use constant variables for that part. It's a block that needs to be clearly verified without any reference.

@GiddyNaya https://docs.microsoft.com/de-de/...
Dunno if I was unclear.
But the assertTrue requires two booleans, it shouldn't make a difference if you compare with an Int vs an StatusCodeConstant... Or am I wrong? -
@IntrusionCM The HttpClient class already contains constants for OK and CREATED which is equivalent to 200 and 201. I could use those but i choose not to because the last time i tried referencing the constants i mistakenly typed NOT_ALLOWED instead of ALLOWED which took a while to notice. Sometimes its safer to just compare responses in plain digits during test to avoid unnecessary overhead.

@GiddyNaya
I think his point is if the expected code changes in 20 tests, you can update a single line of code rather than 20. Not the best example here, but would still do it for consistency. -
fuckwit12184y@OneOrZero tbf you shouldn't be in that field of you don't know http codes. I'd rather see a grouping of 2xx 3xx 4xx 5xx than the constants. Makes grouping much easier and you get a general overview more easily.

@3rdWorldPoison fira always felt like it belonged in one of those generic rpgs you see in youtube ads "raid - wizard of dragons of thrones of war!" with some big tiddied elf bar maiden on the front and under the title it says "your friends wont be seeing much of YOU once you play this game!"
Installed IntelliJ and fell in love with the font. Really cool!
