Atom or Sublime Text?

Groundhog day.

VS Code

Atom. Open source. Plugins.

Both and vs code and phpstorm

Atom + Plugins + themes(dark +1), without autoupdates
But no Matter which one you choose.. multicursor is a must have ;)

Sublime... Was trying VS Code these few days, but it takes up twice as much as RAM. Tried Atom a while back, but still Sublime suits me most.

I use both... Switching between atom and sublime just to kill boredom using only one editor

Installed Atom yesterday. So can't say much. 😂

@eshwarenm using more than One text Cursors at same time. Try strg + d on var Name to change all X following ones for example

Sublime Text. Flexible. Multicursor is a godsend. I miss it with all my heart when doing some coding in the browser.
I use Notepad for one reason and one reason only: editing windows hosts file to add in the domain name of a new vhost on xampp. Notepad start. Ctrl+o. Double click hosts. Add the line. Save. Return to normality.

@eshwarenm multicursor is the best thing you'll ever discover. I could never go back without wincing in pain every 5 minutes.

Atom is just too slow. Can't keep up with me

I've tried Sublime, Atom, and Brackets and went back to Atom, but I'm still looking for something better.

I used Sublime Text for a couple of years but switched to vim last month and it totally got me. I love vim. I like the multicorsur feature in Sublime but I actually don't miss that in vim somehow. (Maybe it's in vim too?)

The only thing that bothers me about vim is to set it up on Windows. On Windows I'm still using Sublime (with the »Vintageous« Plugin). :^)

I use Atom with vim plugin. Sublime is a little bit lighter, but who needs lighter. Functionality, ease of use and customize is what I'm looking for.

Atom with sublime packages is awesome
You can have everything from sublime in atom.

I switched 2 month ago from sublime to atom and its realy nice (but some heavy)
