So tomorrow's my first day as a Junior Developer.

Just this ... Look on Google before you ask!

And when you can't find it or don't understand just ask a senior. Be aware their busy as well try not to knock them off a train of thought.

And don't just sit... even when your waiting for something, Always do something be involved. You'll learn much faster. And more importantly you'll enjoy it.

99% of the time you'll be going directly to StackOverflow from Google

Write your code knowing that in a couple of months you'll be having a blast looking at it again... Leave some comments to your future self. ;)

Impress them early. There's nothing like a first impression.

Be open minded to ideas/suggestions/feedbacks, and don't think that you are always correct.

Perhaps you will need to know where is the coffee machine first. Beware the office rules also, such as refill the coffee machine if you took last cup.

Drink lots of coffee and look grumpy the first hours of the day. That makes you look intellectual

If you find some cool code snippet on stack overflow don't claim that it's yours. They will know.

Bring pizza

Seriously, try to avoid Google and fast, easy answers. When you face a problem and start right away googling it, the only thing you'll learn is how to use Google :D

Only turn to Google when you really checked every option and idea you could think of by yourself.

Sorry I don't want to be rude but I don't like that googling and then probably copy & pasting way of solving issues.

@josephnasr Thanks, well should you run out of options (including google) and turn to seniors, other juniors and especially product owners or project managers collect all your questions on on a notebook and schedule a Q&A. This could also be more informal like a 'Hey, when do you have got some time'.

During that questions be brief, brave and as specific as possible.

But try to relax and enjoy your first days. Without pressure from even yourself you'll more confident and successfull in the long run :)

Google will always help you find the right answers, if you understand what the problem is. If you don't, just ask a senior.
