Same goes for me. Several side projects but lack of motivations. At work, I get bored on a project that runs more then 4 weeks.

psudo3408yI also have the same issue. I've heard that the two things that help are if your project scratches an itch you have and/or if it has users besides yourself.

Yeah, I find it hard to stay motivated with mine too. This isn't the most productive way to do things, but I like to have another smaller project waiting so when I get bored I'll have one to fall back to for a while. It's kinda nice taking a step back from things for a while imo, really seems to give me a fresh set of eyes sometimes ^^

garrettw2698y@psudo For me, it goes like this: scratches an itch? Yes. Has users? Of course not, that's why I'm putting it on GitHub, to get exposure.

tilde31728yI have the same problem too. And it's not just with my projects. Being motivated to do college work is hard as well, since most of the syllabus is either outdated or too basic. Nothing to keep my mind in an inquisitive mood.

I've had the same project for 3 years now but I keep losing motivation and starting again.
