I'm one of the biggest advocates for Chromebooks and Chrome OS ever.

But even I will call out the bullshit right here:

Large 14", in the Netherlands we call that small

@aronmik in a world, where chromebooks are statistically more commonly found in 11 inch and 13 inch sizes.. 14 inches sounds like a reason to pitch a "big screen" marketing scheme.

Gaming on a Celeron processor and Chrome OS should never be even thought of.

The best oxymoron is built for performance using a Celeron processor. Should be phrased built for profit using a Celeron.

Serious games exist. I'm just not sure how one should immerse in it.

Dixit; "While ‘fun’ and ‘enjoyment’ are still things to be aimed for, they will not be the main purpose for the existence of a ‘serious game’."

@erikdreyer11 I've been using them for 4 years. The Intel (not the ARM ones) are actually decent. I just install crouton Ubuntu and do web dev on a LAMP install and other random coding. I mean, they're cheap laptops. No one should expect them to be amazing. Especially considering their original purpose for existing is for the everyday consumer who just browses YouTube and social media, and random web browsing. Maybe some emails, Docs and what not. Definitely not gaming rigs, and not exactly the optimal system for large code bases that need to be compiled. But in my experience, it's been a great way to do some light or moderate programming on a laptop less than 400 or even 300 dollars.
