bagfox8724yI didn’t. I wanted to do video production. Company also wrote code. I did better code than everyone else. So I just did more.. and more.. and more.. then it became a full time job.

xxzer07624yWhen I was young I wasn't really that good at socializing and I had a pretty messed up life. So, computers where the only thing which never let me down, I felt like they were my real friends and I became a dev.
Do not feel sorry, I'm really happy now with my life. -
Spite. I hated Windows Vista, but I would not talk shit about the people that made it until I understood what it meant. Eventually the word "software engineer" attracted me enough that I stared learning about what they did, to understand them better. Then came the uni degree, coupled with endless nights of obsessing over understanding and here I am now, a fully fledged software engineer. My concentration is inside of web development and analytics, I dig it thus far, don't like most devs since I am pretty social and outgoing myself, but i dig it.

I didn't, it just sort of happened.
Was undecided between going to law school to pursue my dream of becoming a journalist and actually earn a living with code. 2 weeks until universities starts, still hadn't made up my mind, my gf phones me and forces me to take a decision once and for all.
Tossed a coin, software developer won, and now here I am, ranting daily about Laravel. -
Gogy2274yMy first PC wasn't strong enough to play games so I tried to write some code and I liked it

MIT Scratch taught me the core concept of chaining useless operations together to make something big. Good high school teachers and friends who already knew most of it also helped.
How did you decide to become a developer?
