Got the iphone mini cuz I was ecstatic to have a small phone that I could use on one hand on the IOS ecosystem.
Found out that apple might discontinue the line for the next iteration due to "poor sales".

It really doesn't matter to me what operating system I am using for the phone, I wanted to give the IOS ecosystem a go with the release of this model. But man it kinda hurts that everyone is hell beant on large screens. Even the standard pixel phone feels too big. I do not want a "tiny" phone, even if one of my favorite Android devices was my Sony Ericsson XPERIA. To me the size of the iphone 5s was perfect. I just want companies to go to that again man. And I do know that there are models for Android that are capable of reaching similar sizes, its just that finding a premium level experience on a phone that size from the Android size gets hard to adjust to carriers etc.

I am liking this little fucker though, very speedy, nifty, decent battery time, camera etc.

    Xperia was ideal size phone.
I switched to iphone 7 about 4 years ago and there is nothing better right now. iPhone SE 2 is just the same. 4,7 inch is ideal size.

    I like phones with button.

The only annoying thing I spotted is that due to screen size increases interface is starting to be packed.
ex apple music new menu is so small you can barely click on stuff.

Switched from my cracked iphone se 1st gen to galaxy s8 few years back and though it was a large phone. today i stand corrected xD

Remember the good old days when ~6 inch phones where called phablets? Today they are just phones!

I loved the Samsung Galaxy S2

You could reach every spot on the screen with your thumb.

Reading this on a Galaxy Note, I have no idea what you're talking about :) (I have big hands)

It's astonishing how you can write a rant about screen sizes without mentioning actual measurements but rather referring to a size with the name of a brand that contains possibly hundreds of models.

It's equally astonishing how happy Americans are with the freedom their carriers have to limit the freedom of their users regarding device selection.

@electrineer lmfao I did not know I needed to provide all that information for a RANDOM topic. But if it bothers you that much you can google the size of the iphone i was talking about (there is but ONE mini btw) or just ignore the rant. Idk

@brown exactly! I don't think that it is that the mini is actually mini, or that the pixel is a small phone, it is that the other ones are too big! lol

@KatatonDzsentri I wish man, would make certain things both on the phone and the guitar far easier :P and the Note is a badass phone, one of my guys at work has it and its absolutely fantastic, the dude has had no complaints on it, which fascinates me because he constantly bitches about other phones.

    Welcome to the fruity side.

The 5s (4") was a tiny phone, It always felt to small back in the day, and the 12 mini (5.4") is rather small for me these days but it was a good size for the 6s (5.4"), I have come to be comfortable with the XR (6.1") but even that jump from the 6s to the XR felt like a massive jump at first, but it didn't take long to adjust to it.

The "plus size" phones I find overkill, almost like having a tablet in your pocket, if I want that I would just lug around my iPad mini.

#Xperia, now that was one hell of a phone back in the day, it had everything, I almost regret not buying it instead of jumping on the Apple wagon... almost.

@C0D4 i constantly change phones based on just me being spoiled and wanting to try something different. I wouldn't say that i am married to my phone brand. Every Apple device i've had I've loved, the same can be said for Android devices except for one table that made me say that If I need a tablet I was never going the android route ever again. In comparison our ipad works amazing with 0 issues.

One thing I am finding funny, apps on Android that are given 2 stars on the play store have 5 stars on the iphone App Store

The screens getting bigger is an issue, soon we'll just phase out mobile phones they'll have become tablets

@EpicofGilgamesh until it fits my pocket - don't care. I rarely make a phone call and it's usually with car audio or earbuds
