I work with small team and we don't talk a huge deal.
I honestly don't know how to properly pronounce A LOT of technical terms.
I go to meetups (well I used to) and hope someone is brave enough to say it so I can hear it.... -
@-red one really can't judge English that way. If so, what about...?
* Clean
* Bean
* Demean
* Jean
* Dean
* Lean
We can go on with words having "ean" sounding as "in". -

I'd say LiAn, but who knows? It may be their accent...
Just remember that spoken language is truly democratic:
- there's no central authority
- everyone keeps voting non-stop
So if you want some pronunciation to stick, just keep saying it that way
