    I read your question as Bow Lean and Bow Lean. My "boo" is broken...

    It's named after George Bool, so I say Bool-ean

    I work with small team and we don't talk a huge deal.

    I honestly don't know how to properly pronounce A LOT of technical terms.

    I go to meetups (well I used to) and hope someone is brave enough to say it so I can hear it....

    @N00bPancakes I mispronounce things to annoy people sometimes.

    @-red one really can't judge English that way. If so, what about...?
    * Clean
    * Bean
    * Demean
    * Jean
    * Dean
    * Lean
    We can go on with words having "ean" sounding as "in".

    I'd say LiAn, but who knows? It may be their accent...
    Just remember that spoken language is truly democratic:
    - there's no central authority
    - everyone keeps voting non-stop
    So if you want some pronunciation to stick, just keep saying it that way
