Ugh, who declared whole month as pride shit. I am sick of it already, make it a single day, you and us don’t deserve more than that, for different reasons.

    Where I presently am I wish it was only being proud of going down on someone with the same hardware

    I’m considering calling the fbi and asking them
    Given the whole gov is run by chomo faggots where I’m supposed to work and who around if I don’t want to be around them

    How does it affect you?

    @RememberMe To be fair, you can’t get away from it, and all it is now is marketing. It annoys me, too.

    @RememberMe lots of virtue signalling, self righteousness on the internet, insincere ad campaigns etc etc. It is like yehova’s witnesses but on the internet.

    Tbh, many communities (still) get a lot of hate, so you should have a bit of empathy. Sure, some of those have annoying people, but it goes a long way to put yourself in other people' shoes.

    @Berkmann18 pride is a sin though

    @ostream legit part is 3% of total month long circus. Toothpaste company changes its logo to rainbow, like wtf...

    @Berkmann18 While you’re not wrong, @aviophile isn’t either.

    @ostream That also pisses me off.

    There are “truth in advertising” laws here in the states, but they aren’t enforced anymore and it really shows.

    @ostream At least lying to sell products/services is normal and expected. Lying about supporting people is just insulting and demeaning.
  • 0
    @Root it will be expected soon enough if not already :)
  • 0
    @ostream Oh, I agree.

    @Root it is kind of funny there is month dedicated to two hairy apes barebacking or placing parts of themselves in each other’s mouths

    LGBT topics are still a taboo in many parts of the society, even where people are educated. In a way when people talk enthusiastically or negatively about the Pride month, it is normalizing the conversation around LGBT topics.

    1 homophobic business owner selling soap box painted with Rainbows in the pride month maybe purely for commercial gains. But when a homophobic parent goes to the market and finds their soap for daily use has "sinful symbols" and complains in front of a child "how the Liberals are destroying the society", the child who maybe closeted may still understand that the world is changing, and their right to be themself might be the new social norm.

    Market doesn't discriminate if they wanna profit. It will sell Nazi emblems if people want it too much. It will sell Dogecoin painted cars if people want it, even the business hates it.

    ^^ Here the bigger society would try to prohibit Nazi ones. But should it do the same with Rainbows?

    Morally, not.

    Annoyance << Hate.
