What are your stories of project delays(ideally that you caused) and how did you manage to get through the stakeholders with thise stories.
Please share some wisdom to handle these situations.

Cause of delay: Wrong time estimate.
How I handled it: I was honest, saying they'll have to wait, I of course didn't charge the extra hours, and reduced the work to the minimum.
If they want something extra, you can give a new estimate.
