It takes 6 minutes to run a single test file.

How is your day going?

    i was ordered to rename every notion of password to something else.
    One of the i could push back far enough is the request that my scripts should get their credentials to authenticate against a server(http basic auth) from an encrypted file. And these scripts are made to be run without human interaction.

    Can’t leave her, can’t get her. Love is crippling.

    @iiii november is an audit and they failed the last audit. Nothing has changed since then. It got worse.

    @stop but why renaming password?

    Working on a 15 year old project that’s (partially) unit tested. 6 minutes sounds like a dream!

    I'll be back in 2 hours when mine complete 🙃

    If only they could run in parallel.

    Burned down some domain controllers by accident, windows got stuck in update loop after recovery, took longer than expected.

    Reeeeed rum.

    @iiii the search the servers after the term password and we get trouble for storing passwords in plaintext.

    @MoistGrass @C0D4 Seriously?! *shudder* I’m only frustrated because I’m trying to write tests for the first time on a not well tested part of the code base and I’m still getting used to doing things in Cucumber and it’s really difficult to figure out why something’s failing when it takes 6 minutes to run one scenario. 😅
